Meet The Crew

Director of Photography: Yasmin (Me)
I responsible of making sure that the camera work matches the storyboard of the film making, through the camera, in terms of the shot, angle and Mise-en-scene. I would provide a unique visual look and how I want the audience to look at the film.

Production Designer and Editor: Melanye
She is responsible for the visual concept of the trailer production. This means identifying a design style for the sets, location, graphics, props, lighting, camera angles and costumes. Also, working closely with the director and producer.
Director: Rosemarie
The role consists of ensuring the final product is the desired trailer that the crew envisioned from the script. The responsibility of delegating each role is important to ensure that each member is participating and is briefed on what needs to be done, therefore using my organisational skills will help make time for each member in order to get the desired end product. This includes being present within scripting, production and editing and also approving decisions such as casting, costumes, setting, lighting and camera angles.

Producer: Britney
The producer is in charge of the practical aspects of film making. This consists of hiring casts and staff which they believe will best suit the characters in the film, finding suitable locations that match the genre/scene and working closely as well as efficiently with all members of the film making process to ensure the best outcome is reached.

Meeting minutes

we got together as a group and got to know each other a little more by asking one another various different question questions related to the film.

Favourite movie genres:
Yasmin- Action
Melanye- Romance
Rosemarie- Horror
Britney- Comedy

Favourite actors:
Yasmin- Idris Elba
Melanye- Channing Tatum
Rosemarie- Anne Hathaway
Britney- Martin Lawrence

We then took down each other's contact details and created a WhatsApp group chat in order to ensure our communication outside of lessons was up to date. We selected each persons individual role depending on what they felt confident in doing and what they believed they would be strong in doing however we agreed that each person wouldn't have to work alone on their role therefore if the director of photography needed some help, we'd all support because it is a team effort.
